On the path of compassion lies the true essence of service.
On February 8th, 2025, a serene Saturday morning, members of Prajna Trust embarked on a heartfelt visit to ‘Rab De Jeev,’ a dog shelter in Mohali. With compassion as our guiding light, the Trust provided essential food supplies for the cherished residents of the shelter.
“If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.” – Buddha
The highlight of the visit was the gracious presentation of a cheque by Lama Ji for essential medicines, ensuring the well-being and health of the shelter’s canine inhabitants. This act of kindness underscored the Trust’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of all beings.
Interacting with the playful and affectionate dogs was a profoundly heartwarming experience for our volunteers. Each wagging tail and gentle gaze was a reminder of the boundless love and joy that animals bring into our lives.

This visit marked the third time Prajna Trust has extended its support to ‘Rab De Jeev,’ reaffirming our dedication to service and compassion. Each visit strengthens our resolve to continue making a positive impact, one act of kindness at a time.
As we left the shelter, our hearts were filled with gratitude, knowing that in serving these innocent beings, we walk the noble path of compassion and selflessness.
