On January 18, 2025, under the benevolent guidance of Lama Yeshe Rabgye, the Prajna Trust embarked on a heartfelt journey to Samarth Jiyo, a residential care facility dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs in Sector 15, Chandigarh. This visit exemplified our unwavering commitment to spreading joy, care, and compassion within the community, and it left an indelible mark on every participant’s heart.
The Journey of Compassion and Joy: The team arrived at Samarth Jiyo at 12:00 P.M., greeted by the warm smiles of the residents and staff. The day began with a heartwarming interaction with the children, setting the tone for a vibrant and joyful experience.
Interactive Singing Performance: The children, brimming with enthusiasm, participated in a delightful singing session. Their voices resonated with joy, creating an atmosphere of unity and shared happiness.
Fun and Games: The Prajna team organized engaging activities such as a Lemon Spoon Race and Musical Chairs. These games filled the air with laughter and excitement, and the winners were awarded prizes, further elevating the festive spirit
Expressions of Talent: Another singing performance by the children followed, showcasing their creativity and zest for life. Their talents were a testament to the nurturing environment provided by Samarth Jiyo.
Contribution of Essentials: Lama Yeshe Rabgye, as a gesture of support and goodwill, presented a month’s supply of rations to the Chief Warden of the facility. This contribution symbolized Prajna Trust’s commitment to fostering sustainable wellbeing within the community.
